Drawing near to The Lord brings us to a place of rest. Distancing ourselves results in restlessness and, ultimately, rebellion. The heart grows harder. The neck gets stiffer. A deaf ear is turned to His voice. Hebrews 3 encourages us to turn our hearts toward the Lord that we might hear from Him and find perfect rest in Him.
